Operating from the oldest house in the Leeds village of Shadwell, the Village Fish Shop runs from a stone built cottage constructed in 1637.
The family business (originally started by Hazel and Geoffrey Savage) is now managed by eldest son Mark.
Mark learned the skills of fish frying from his father who ran the shop with his mother for 34 years. Shadwell is very much a traditional shop preparing quality food using traditional methods.
